RULES OF PARTICIPATION
RULES OF PARTICIPATION IN SECTIONS OF COMPETITIVE ECOZINE 2010 - INTERNATIONAL FILM FESTIVAL OF ENVIRONMENT AND ZARAGOZA.
I DATE AND PLACE
Article 1
The 3rd edition of EcoZine, FESTIVAL INTERNACIONAL DE CINE Y MEDIO AMBIENTE DE ZARAGOZA be held in the city of Zaragoza (Spain), from 14 and 23 May 2010.
II PURPOSE
Article 2
EcoZine aims to spread, show and rewarding works, with environmental issues, produced anywhere in the world, as well as promotes activities and events related to the Audiovisual Art and Environment.
With Environment, we%u2019re making reference about the interaction of humans with their environment, including all aspects related to climate change, water resources and their management, sustainable development, human rights in relation to environment, gender relations, the North-South relations, and so on.
III REGISTRATION
Article 3
May attend any natural or legal person, either individually or collectively, without age limit, with the necessary rights to the work presented.
Article 4
Each participant can take part with more than one audiovisual project, but it is essential to fill in a registration requirement for each work.
Article 5
May register all the films made after January 1 2006, there%u2019s not need to be unpublished and They can have won awards in other festivals.
Registration for the competitive section will be done in the Short film or Documentary Section.
The works submitted to the Short film must last a maximum of 30 minutes.
The works submitted to the Documentary section must last More than 30 minutes.
Article 6
Registration is free and call for entries will be open from 31 January to 31 March 2010, through the form available for those interested in the site http//:www.ecozine.es
The deadline for the admission of the previous copy, in DVD format, will be the 14 hours of the day March 31, 2010.
Article 7
The director or producer must complete a form, sign it and send it to the organization of the Festival with the following data:
- Brief overview of the work, photographs and eventually sign the book on CD
- Copy DVD format prior to the selection.
- Indicate the format of presentation of the work as well as the language of its original soundtrack and subtitle language, if held.
- Biofilmography
- CV of the filmmaker / a
It will turn down any entry, which does not meet any of the above requirements.
Article 8
This material should be sent by post, by adding the following information written on the package: "DVD for festival without commercial value" to the following address:

Article 9
If any participants wish their submitted materials be returned, must be specified in writing, assuming the cost of shipment.
Article 10
DVDs background documentation EcoZine may, at the discretion of the organizers, be used in cultural and environmental exhibitions organized by EcoZine, with the necessary permission from the copyright holder for screen
Article 11
Producers and / or directors and / or distributors of the works selected will be notified of the outcome of the selection the April 8, 2010. This date may be extended depending on the organization of the 3rd edition of EcoZine
Article 12
In case EcoZine have to take charge of subtitle into Spanish of projects presented, the organization is exempt from liability for any and / or needed adjustments to script.
Article 13
EcoZine won%u2019t take charge of customs charges and / or transport / shipping.
IV - SELECTION
Article 14
A Selection Board indicated by the organizers, with full autonomy, will choose among the works registred, those will participate in the competitive sections
Article 15
It is forbidden to participate in the Selection Board in the Official Jury or in the organizational structures of the 3rd edition of EcoZine, for natural persons or legal association with any bond or personal interested with the productions entered in the Festival
Article 16
The organization of the 3rd edition of EcoZine is responsible for the preservation of books and received, and in case of damage or loss, the damages can never exceed the cost of the copy is damaged or lost.
V - AWARDS
Article 17
Official Jury will be constituted with a different personalities with a record in the middle and / or environmental, which will be coordinated by a President, responsible for the minutes of meetings, being sovereign and irrevocable decisions.
Article18
The official jury will award the following prizes:
- Award for Best Documentary: FIVE THOUSAND EUROS
- Award for Best Short: THREE THOUSAND EUROS
Article 19
The value of prizes will be deductions called for by the Spanish legislation in force in this regard.
Article 20
The organization of the 3rd edition EcoZine also reward the following categories:
- Recognition Award of audiovisual production elected by the public attending the Sección Joven (Junior Section.)
- Recognition Award of audiovisual production elected by the public attending the Sección Encuentro 2010 de Realizadores Audiovisuales.
- Recognition Award to a person or institution for its work in environmental protection
Article 21
Shall be awarded honorable mentions and other awards offered by national institutions and organizations and / or approved by the international organization of the Festival remain the responsibility of such institutions or organizations choosing the winners and delivery of the relevant awards.
VI - GENERAL AND FINAL PROVISIONS
Article 22
to publicize the festival, the organizers reserve the right to exhibit, without any screen fee, in film, television, Internet or other public media, an extract of selected work
Article 23
Once the ecozine Festiva finish , with the authorization of rights holders exhibition, can use the DVD's selected and presented in other cultural and environmental festivals.
Article 24
Omitted any situation in these regulations shall be resolved by organizing the 3rd edition of EcoZine Festival, according to general principles of law and custom in audiovisual festivals.
Article 25
The signature of the director / producer / distributor in the entry form implies acceptance of these rules.
Article 26
This regulation is written in Spanish, English and French. If in doubt, its interpretation will prevail, depending on the version in Spanish.
