Description of Building

The building is shaped plant alleged that former convent church crypt and today remain the baroque facade facade and its bell tower, from the early eighteenth century, is enabled as main access to downtown from the Plaza San Agustin. In his recovery has taken into full account the conservation of original features including decorative and heraldic motifs that make up. Moreover, it also incorporates the space preserved in the crypt of the old church, including in the basement 1 of the building.

Building
The building, designed by the architect Jose Maria Ruiz de Temiño, has two basements, a ground floor and two storeys in height, with corresponding technical mezzanines.

The History Center Zaragoza has two floors to house temporary exhibitions that occupy a total of 1200 m2 and two exhibition spaces called Crypt and Space Transit Area.

Assembly hall
with capacity for 182 people

Two Classrooms Workshop
with a capacity of 25 persons each

Cultural Information Space
which channels the information on the city's cultural proposals, both public and private, several computer stations with free Internet access and a library area where browse catalogs, magazines ...)

Audiovisual Laboratory
Working space for musicians, filmmakers and visual artists.
The Lab is a creative center equipped with facilities and professional media for the dissemination of music and audiovisual your creative side. As a means of dissemination and the work has its own publishing label. In turn collaborates with other production and training centers to expand their proposals and activities.

On the other hand provides logistical support to the exhibitions, control and management of the technical equipment of the Center, organizes and develops thematic workshops and specific courses and audiovisual monitoring of its own activities.
